When many chats work at the same time, your attention is what runs out. The wall shows every chat live, so you look only where you are needed.

Your attention is the scarce thing. The wall is one view of every conversation open in your window, drawn as a grid of live tiles, so you can see at a glance which ones are working, which are waiting on you and which are at rest. It is also where you sort them into teams.

Reading the wall

Arrows move the focus, / filters by name, Enter opens the chat. Keys: ↓↓/limitEnter

The title bar reads Conversations · open in this window with a count of what is open. Each tile shows the conversation's title, one dim line of what it is doing, such as updated 28s ago, and its newest lines. A tile that needs you has an amber border, and that is the only amber on the wall. Arrow keys move the focus, Enter opens the focused conversation, and [/] filters by name. Nothing you do here stops any work: closing a tile closes its view, and the conversation keeps running.

Sorting it into teams

Space picks tiles, S makes the team, Enter keeps its name. Keys: →Space↓SpaceSEnter

Press Space on tiles to pick them, then S. A New team card opens with a name already filled in: the folder's name when the picked chats share one project folder, otherwise a word, and CodeAF asks a cheap model once for a better one over their titles. Press Enter and the Teams row says Made shop-api · 2.

Or press ✦ Organize (O). CodeAF suggests teams from shared folders, free, and from one cheap model call over your titles, then shows them on a card with the cost, such as ☑ ● shop-api 3 from the folder and about $0.0001. Nothing changes until you press Apply, and Undo puts your teams back exactly as they were.

Things to build

  • The expensive chat, found in a glance: every tile shows what its chat has spent, so one Alt+V over ten chats shows which one to stop.
  • Eleven chats, three teams: ✦ Organize proposes teams from shared folders and one cheap model call, about $0.0001, and nothing changes until you apply it. Organize a messy window
  • A team per repo, by hand: pick every chat on one repo with Space, press S, and the team takes the folder's name.
  • A side project on an allowance: make the team on the wall, then give it a daily cap of $5 in its settings: at the cap you are asked once to raise it or stop for today.
